This beautiful
wallpaper is completely natural. It is made by hand from a mulch
of Mulberry bark, which creates the interesting surface texture.
While it is still wet the leaves and grasses are laid on top
to form the design.
The petals are gathered in the early morning, while they are
still damp with dew, and incorporated with the grasses and leaves
into the paper as it is drying.
Jane Gordon Clark used these natural forms to design the gently
waving motif so that it would seem to grow upwards on the paper,
creating an organic feeling of life.
The effect on the wall is visually stunning. The hand made quality
of the paper gives your room an individuality which brings harmony
and beauty of nature into the interior space.
The paper is made of panels measuring approximately 2.50m to
3m x 50cms. It can be hung in the conventional way, all around
the room, or single panels can be hung individually to make
a unique decorative feature.
There are two different designs, Springtime and Summertime,
and each one incorporates different flowers and grasses.
The colours of the flower petals define the colourway, so Marigold
petals produce an orange design, Isis is a deep purple blue
and Bougainvillaea is a deep pink.
