Inspired by the graceful painting of ancient Chinese wallpapers

The Wallpapers look hand painted because the spontaneity of the brush strokes and freely flowing leaf design create the impression that an artist has painted your walls.

The background has the soft lustre of painted silk which reflects the light in different ways and brings a special life to the room. Uniquely, this paper seems never to repeat and needs no matching. The rolls of wallpaper are made in a sequence of three, with a slightly different design on each roll. They are hung with one drop from roll A, the next from roll B, then roll C, back to roll A and so on round the room.

We print 3 rolls with a slightly different flowing leaf design on each. The actual repeat up the wall is 48" but you don't see the repeat at all because there is no repitition sideways.

You can hang the papers as they come off the roll in whatever lengths the wall height requires. When you order 10 rolls, for example, we supply 3A, 3B, 4C etc.
